What we collect
- From the quote form: your name, business name, email, phone if you give one, and what you write in the message field.
- Automatically: our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, page requested, time — used to keep the site running and block abuse.
No advertising trackers, no visitor profiling, and we never sell or rent anyone's information.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a concept or quote.
- To carry out a project if you hire us.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Nothing else. A new use would mean asking you first.
Who else sees it
- Netlify — hosts the site and receives form submissions.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces; loading them sends your IP address to Google.
Both may process data outside Québec, including in the United States, where it can be subject to local law. We share nothing else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that don't become projects are deleted within 24 months. Records tied to completed work are kept 7 years for tax and accounting rules. Server logs roll off on our host's schedule.
Your rights
Under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and Canada's PIPEDA, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it or stop using it where the law allows, or withdraw a consent. Email info@stellaireweb.com; we respond within 30 days. If unsatisfied, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Anything stored by your browser stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Security
Served over HTTPS with strict security headers. Access to submissions is limited to the people at STELLAIRE who need it. No system is perfect — a breach putting your information at real risk would be disclosed to you and the regulator as the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
